This 5-3/4" - 36 modern base moulding measures 5.750" wide by .750" thickness, allowing the detail to be machined out of four-quarter lumber. The contemporary profile is composed of a 4-1/2" broad straight line with an off-centered 1/8" vertical step, connected to a 1-1/8" broad line segment and a 3/8" rounded edge that joins to a 1/8" wide fillet with a 3/64" eased edge on the right side of the pattern.
