This pencil bead 5-1/2" - 95 base moulding measures 5.500" wide by .750" thickness, allowing the detail to be machined out of four-quarter lumber. The stylish design could also be utilized as a beautiful crown backer profile. It is composed as a 4-7/8" broad flat line on the top, connected to a one half inch wide pencil bead flanked by 1/8" wide by 1/4" deep sunk fillets on each side leaving a 1/8" thickness dimension on the lower right side of the pattern, the bead was intentionally recessed by .010" to allow for sanding after the machining process.
