Baseboard 5-1/2" - 140
This fundamental baseboard 5-1/2" - 140 measures 5.500" wide by .625" thickness, enabling a 5-3/4" inch wide blank of four-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial molder. These rudimentary designs are standard in spec homes or more economical commercial construction. A residential profile is generally 3 1/2″ in width for casings and 5-1/2" in baseboards. This sanitary profile retains a 3/16" round over on the top corner of the design. It can be found at all popular building material suppliers and is an effortless profile to miter. We offer a few doors/window casings details in different widths and thicknesses for your review and consideration,
door casing 3.000" - 98, door casing 3.500" - 213, and
door casing 4.000" - 96.
