This distinguished baseboard 5-1/8" - 9 measures 5.125" width by .687" thickness, allowing a 5-3/8" wide blank of four-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial moulder. The beautiful profile comprises a 1-29/32" broad flat line with a ½" rolled inner edge on the top left. The radius connects to a 2-5/32" convex arc tangent to a 2-5/8" concave semicircle creating the s-shaped curvature in the center. The remaining portion consists of a half-elliptical-shaped bead with a 1/8" quarter-round on the right side of the design.
Caution: the cutters will come within .020" of the machine bed plates when milling this detail. We recommend a wooden, phenolic, or plastic sacrificial bed plate for these milling operations.
