This stepped baseboard 5" - 40 measures 5.000" wide by .625" thickness, necessitating a 5-1/4" wide blank of four-quarter lumber for milling. The treaded profile comprises a 2-5/8" broad horizontal line connected to a 1/8" deep beveled step, attached to a 1-3/8" and a 7/8" comprehensive, flat lines, both with 1/8" by 1/8" chamfered edges in the right section of the design.
