This
custom baseboard 3-3/16" - 1 measure 3.187" wide by .562" thickness, permitting the use of a 3-7/16" wide piece of four-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial molder. The basic profile contains a 2-9/32" broad flat line with a 5/32" vertical step in the top center. The short line connects to a 1/16" wide sunk fillet attached to a three-tangent radius downsloping wave-like curvature on the design's right side.
Caution: the cutters will come within .020" of the machine bed plates when milling this detail. We recommend a wooden, phenolic, or plastic sacrificial bed plate for these milling operations.
