Base Shoe 7/8" - 5

This attractive 7/8" - 5 base shoe measures .875" wide by .500" thick. The functional profile is used where the bottom of the baseboard touches the top of the hardwood flooring. It will hide any gaps that may have occurred during the installation process and add beautiful transitional trim pieces between the wall and flooring. The pattern is applied to the baseboard, not the flooring. The design consists of a 1/4" horizontal line tangent off a 1/2" radius arc with a 5/32" fillet leaving a 3/16" thickness dimension on the thin side of the design.

Utilize fall-off rips of lumber while doubling production in half the amount of time with this unique split two custom base shoe profile. Caution; the cutters will come within .015" of the machine bed plates when milling this detail. We recommend a wooden, phenolic or plastic sacrificial bed plate be used for these milling operations.
