Base Shoe 3/4" - 4
This beveled back .750" base shoe measures wide by .500" thick. The functional profile comprises a 1/2" radius quarter round tangent off of a 1/4" broad horizontal line; there is a 3/32" wide by 3/32" tall chamfer on the back side to aid the installation process. The ageless pattern is used to enhance baseboards while covering any uneven gaps between the flooring and the bottom of the base; due to seasonal changes in relative humidity, the base shoe is secured to the baseboard, not the flooring.
Caution; the top cutters will come within .020" of the machine bed plates when milling this detail. We recommend a wooden, phenolic or plastic sacrificial bed plate be used for these tilling operations.
