WM 127 Base Shoe 3/4"

This WM 127 base shoe 3/4" measures .750" in width by .437" in thickness. The pattern is mainly used to enhance the baseboard at the same time while covering any uneven gaps between the flooring and the bottom of the design. When installed, the shoe is secured to the mopboard, not the floor. The flooring will expand and contract during seasonal changes in relative humidity, causing the base shoe to split. The customary profile comprises a 1/2" radius arc tangent from a 17/64" broad straight horizontal line on the top left. The recommended rough wood rip size using four-quarter lumber is 6-1/4" wide.
