WM 172 Base Cap 3/4" - 4

This time-honored WM 172 base cap comprises a 1/16" broad line on the top left. The short line forms a quirk when applied to a piece of S4S (surfaced four sides) lumber. It's attached to two 7/32" tangent radiuses forming the cyma reversa in the center, leaving a 5/32" thickness dimension on the design's right edge. The standard base cap pattern 3/4" - 4 measures .750" in width by .625" in thickness. We encourage using one-inch wide blanks of fall-off rips of four-quarter lumber for milling with industrial machinery.
