This elegant base cap 2-5/16" measures 2.312" wide by .750" thickness, allowing the detail to be machined from four-quarter lumber. The graceful profile is composed of a 1/8" broad line segment at a 1/2" thickness dimension on the left, this creates a quirk when applied to a piece of S4S (surfaced four sides) lumber, connected to a lovely two tangent radius cyma reversa in the center with a 3/8" wide half circle on the right side of the design.
