Base Cap 2-1/16" - 1

This lovely base cap 2-1/16" measures 2.062" wide by .750" thickness, enabling a 2-5/16" wide blank of four-quarter lumber for machining on industrial equipment. The beautiful profile composes a 23/32" broad half-round bead on the top left. It joins a downsloping two tangent radius s-shaped curvature in the center with a 7/16" wide half-circle on the design's right edge. The rabbet dimension for the base to fit underneath is 5/16" wide by 3/8" tall.

Caution: the cutters will come within .020" of the machine bed plates when milling this detail. We recommend a wooden, phenolic, or plastic sacrificial bed plate for these milling operations. On the left set of blades, we utilize a full 2.375"/60mm cutter head for the rabbet; this allows for multiple axial adjustments on a wide range of patterns.
