Base Cap 1-3/4" - 3

This innovative base cap 1-3/4" - 3 measures 1.750" wide by .812" thickness. The attractive profile is comprised of a two tangent radius cyma reversa, connected to a 3/16" radius half-round bead with a 1/16" broad horizontal line joined to a 3/16" cove tangent off of a 1/8" radius arc forming a cyma recta on the thin side edge, the back side rabbet measures 1/8" wide by however tall you want to mill it.

Caution; the cutters will come within .020" of the machine bed plates when milling this detail. We recommend a wooden, phenolic or plastic sacrificial bed plate be used for these milling operations. On the left set of blades, we utilize a full 2.375"/60mm cutter head for the rabbet; this allows for multiple axial adjustments on a wide range of patterns.
