custom base cap 1-3/4" - 17 measures 1.750" wide by .781" thickness, allowing the detail to be machined from four-quarter lumber. The ordinary profile is one of the most common base caps in the industry, it is composed of a 1/16" broad line segment on the left, this will create a quirk when applied to a piece of S4S (surfaced four sides) lumber, connected to a graceful two tangent radius cyma reversa in the center, attached to a 3/8" wide splay faced angled line on the right side of the pattern.
