This gorgeous base cap 1-5/8" - 5 measures 1.625" wide by .750" thickness, permitting the detail to be machined out of four-quarter lumber. The stunning profile is composed of a 3/32" broad line segment at a 1/2" thickness dimension on the top left, this creates a quirk when applied to a piece of surfaced four sides (S4S) lumber, attached to a 43/64" wide half round bead and a 5/64" fillet that transitions into a 5/16" elliptical shaped scotia in the center, joined to an 11/64" wide by 1/16" tall raised fillet, connected to an 11/64" quarter round arc and a 1/16" broad line creating a geometrical ovolo, leaving a 1/8" thickness dimension on the right side of the design.
