This rabbeted base cap 1-3/8" - 11 measures 1.375" wide by .687" thickness, enabling the detail to be machined from four-quarter lumber. The beautiful profile composes a 23/32" broad flat line with a 9/32" eased edge on top, connected to a 1/8" vertical drop in elevation that joins to a 5/16" radius ovolo shaped bead with a 5/32" wide fillet on the right side of the pattern. The rabbet dimension is 1/8" wide by 17/32" tall; this area is adjustable with a simple axial movement of the left cutter head on the molder.
