This classic base cap 1-3/8" measures 1.375" wide by .687" thickness, allowing the detail to be milled from four-quarter lumber. The embellishing profile composes a 1/8" broad flat line segment at a 1/2" thickness dimension on the left, this will create a quirk when applied to a piece of S4S (surfaced four sides) lumber, joined to an elevation changing two tangent radius cyma reversa in the center with a 1/4" wide half round bead on the right side of the pattern.
