This stylish 1-1/8" - 1 base cap measures 1.125" wide by .750" thickness. The profile comprises a 1/4" and 37/64" tangent radiuses creating a cyma reversa attached to a 1/8" wide by 7/16" deep sunk fillet creating a quirk when applied to a piece of surfaced four sides (S4S) lumber. Base caps are unique because they add style and character to the baseboard design while reducing manufacturing costs. The same holds for base shoes.
