Bar Rail 5-1/2" - 1

This flat bottom bar rail 5-1/2" - 1 measure 5.500" wide by 1-3/4" thickness, requiring eight-quarter lumber to mill this pattern on an industrial-style molder. The elegant profile is comprised of a 3-1/2" radius concave armrest in the center, tangent off of a 1" radius arc on the left and a 1/2" eased edge on the right leaving a 3/4" thickness dimension on the smaller side of the pattern. We suggest milling some saw kerf's on the bottom side of the molding to minimize cupping of the pattern due to the large amount of wood removed in detail.
