Bar Rail 4-15/16"

This beautiful 4-15/16" bar rail comprises a free-flowing sloped top attached to an s-shaped curvature transitioning into the countertop when installed. The detail retains two sets of dimensions, one set for milling sprung (laying horizontally flat) to minimize lumber cost and to create even hold-down points for milling purposes. The other set of measurements is in the image above. The rabbet on the bottom measures 2-3/8" wide by 3/4" tall for securing the countertop to the bar railing. The recommended rough wood rip size using six or eight-quarter lumber is 5-1/4" wide.
