Backout/Relief Cut 5-7/8"

This 5-7/8" backout measures 5.875" wide. The offset profile comprises a 4" wide by 3/32" deep plow flanked with forty-five-degree chamfers that transition into a 5/8" wide horizontal fillet on the inside and a 1-1/4" wide fillet on the outside edge. This area of the design is the bottom side of the baseboard. It will provide enough space for attaching the pattern during installation while reducing splitting issues that might be caused when nailing into the voided area on the backside. This backout's maximum width is 6-5/8" wide, with the cutterhead positioned at .000" axially. This profile is utilized on many of our medium-sized width baseboard patterns.
