Backout/Relief Cut 5-1/4"

This 5-1/4" backout measures 5.250" wide. The offset profile comprises a 3-1/8" wide, by 1/16" deep plow, with forty-five-degree chamfers that transition into a 7/8" wide horizontal fillet on one side of the pattern and a 1-1/4" broad line on the opposite side. This area of the design is commonly the bottom side of the baseboard. It will provide sufficient space for securing the pattern during installation while reducing splitting issues caused by nailing into the void area on the back side of the design. The maximum width this backout could mill is 6" wide, with the cutterhead positioned at .000" axially. The pattern is used on many of our medium-sized baseboards.
