This backout 3" - 5 measures 3.000" wide. This profile is utilized on hundreds of our medium-sized
casings and
chair rails.
The functional profile is comprised of a 1-3/4" wide by 1/16" deep plow flanked by forty-five-degree chamfers, they both transition into 5/8" wide straight fillets on each side edge of the detail. The maximum width these knives can mill is 3-3/4" wide when the bottom cutterhead is positioned at .000" axially.
