Backband 3/4" - 12

This embellishing backband 3/4" - 12 measures .750" in width by 1.250" in height. The pattern gets used on hundreds of our 3/4" thickness door & window casings. It comprises a 5/16" broad flat top with a 3/64" eased outer edge. Connecting to a two-tangent radius s-shaped ogee joined to a 3/32" fillet with an additional 3/64" rolled edge above the 1/4" wide by 3/4" tall rabbet for this custom door casing. The detail is machined laying horizontally flat, enabling the use of 1-1/2" wide blanks of four-quarter lumber. The rabbeted portion is the hold-down area for the machine's pressure shoe element.
