WM 281 Backband 11/16"

Backbands are rabbeted trim pieces installed around the outside edge of the door casing to embellish the overall appeal and save money on lumber costs. This WM 281 backband 11/16" measures .688" in width by 1.125" in height. The beautiful, timeless profile comprises a 13/32" flat line with a 1/8" radius edge on the top left. It connects to a 3/64" vertical step joined to a small ogee, leaving a 5/32" thickness dimension above the 3/4" tall by 1/4" wide rabbet for the door casing. The bottom is beveled by eight degrees with a 3/32" wide horizontal fillet for easy scribing to the wall during the installation process.
