Rail Cap 5-1/8" - 1

This 5-1/8" - 1 railing cap measures 5.125" width by 1.312" thickness, requiring at least a 5-3/8" wide blank of six-quarter lumber for milling on an industrial moulder. The elegant profile comprises a 9-9/32" radius convex arc on the top center. The arc is tangent to two 5/8" quarter-rounds on each side edge of the design. The bottom comprises a 3-3/8" wide by 1/4" deep dado for capping the railing. The plow gets flanked by a 7/8" wide flat section with a semi-trapezoidal section in the middle, creating a drip edge in wet conditions.
