Backband 2-1/4" - 5

This elegant 2-1/4" - 5 backband measures 2.250" wide by 1.500" thickness, requiring a 2-1/2" wide blank of glued-up four or solid eight-quarter lumber for milling on a commercial molder. The embellishing profile contains a 7/8" wide by 9/64" tall raised fillet with a 3/32" rolled edge on the top left. The short line connects to a 1/8" wide line segment, joined to a two tangent radius elliptical-shaped concave arc with a 3/64" eased edge on the design's right side. The rabbet dimension for the door casing to fit into measures 1/4" wide by 3/4" tall.
