Backband 1-7/8" - 2

This beautiful backband 1-7/8" - 2 measures 1.875" width by 1.750" thickness, permitting the use of a 2-1/8" wide blank of eight-quarter lumber for milling on a commercial molder. The enthralling profile contains a 7/8" broad flat line segment with a 1/8" rolled corner on the top left. The inner part of the line connects to a 19/64" radius cove with a 1/16" eased edge joined to a 3/16" quarter round convex arc in the center. The remaining portion consists of a 1/8" horizontal fillet attached to a 3/16" cove with a 3/64" eased edge. The rabbet dimension for the casing is 1/2" wide by 13/16" tall; this area is adjustable to any specific needs.
