Backband 1-1/2" - 17
This concave 1-1/2" - 17 backband moulding comprises a 1/2" wide flat area on the top left. It connects to a 1-1/8" cavetto leaving a 3/16" edge thickness above the 1/2" wide by 11/16" tall rabbet for the door casing to fit into. All three sharp edges on the top are eased by 3/64" to eliminate splintering and damage in transit. It will also aid in the finishing process.
