Backband 1" - 14

This delightful 1" - 14 backband measures 1.000" width by 1.750" thickness, enabling the use of five-quarter lumber for machining sprung (laying horizontally flat) on an industrial-grade molder. The stylish profile contains a 43/64" broad half-circle on the top left, connected to a 9/64" horizontal fillet with a 1/4" cove on the right side of the design. The front side rabbet for the casing is 7/8" tall by 1/4" wide; this width of the rabbet is adjustable with a simple axial adjustment of the top cutter head on the molder.
