Wainscot Cap 1" - 12

This modest 1" - 12 wainscot cap measures 1.000" wide by .812" thickness, allowing the detail to be milled from four-quarter lumber. The decorative profile is composed of a 5/8" wide half-round bead flanked by a 1/16" wide line segment on the left and a 1/8" wide line on the right, joined to a 3/16" wide congee made from a 1/8" cove leaving a 1/8" thickness dimension on the right edge. The rabbet for the wainscot paneling measures 5/8" wide by 1/4" deep, the bed-plate on the machine should be built up 5/16" to receive the pattern during the milling process.
