Shiplap Moulding 7-3/16" - 2

This log cabin shiplap siding moulding 7-3/16" - 2 measures 7.187" wide by 1.375" thickness, enabling the detail to be machined from six quarter lumber, the exposed face dimension is 6-11/16" wide. The beautiful profile is comprised of a 7-19/64" radius arc on the face that simulates the side of a log, there is a 1/8" vertical step when two pieces of lumber are joined together. This area allows water to drip onto the piece below it, keeping moisture away from the joint, the backside rabbet dimension is 1/2" wide by 1/2" tall. We have a similar profile with a slightly larger width and thickness for your review and consideration, shiplap 8.500". We also have some log cabin siding profiles with a tongue & groove joint instead of this lap joint.
