Shiplap Siding 7-1/8"

This log cabin shiplap siding 7-1/8" measures 7.125" wide by 1.437" thickness, permitting the detail to be milled from eight-quarter lumber. The stylish profile is composed of a 6-5/16" wide 6-1/8" radius arc in the center, attached to a 13/16" wide line segment, one-half inch of this line is tapered by five degrees to allow the end of the board to fit under the 1/2" wide by 1/2" tall rabbet on the opposites side. When two pieces of milled lumber are joined together, they create a 6-5/8" wide face coverage dimension with a 5/16" wide by 1/8" deep channel between the merged planks.
